  • The Maxfield & Dyer Mixology team has a wealth of knowledge and experience from across the hospitality sector. There isn’t a type of bar, size of party, or level of service that we haven't been involved in. When it comes to your event, we always put the drinks first, only serving the best quality possible.

  • Every event begins with a consultation where we learn your preferences, theme, and guest profile. Choose from our seasonal list of favourite and most popular options or let us know your preferred drinks, we’ll tailor the menu to suit your event. We usually recommend 3-4 cocktail options per event.

  • Maxfield & Dyer offers complete bar services including custom cocktails, classic drinks, premium spirits, high quality organic wines, local premium beers and seasonal soft drinks. We offer professional bar setups and a team of skilled bartenders ensuring smooth service throughout.

  • We are currently taking bookings up to 24 months in advance. We recommend booking at least 6-8 weeks prior to your event to allow ample time for planning, menu customisation, and logistics, especially for large or complex events. However, we can accommodate last-minute booking requests, so do get in touch regardless of your event date.

  • We are based in the South-West, however you’ll find us mixing cocktails in London, the Cotswolds, and beyond. From coast to coast, we’re happy to offer our services at any location across the country - no distance is too far for the perfect cocktails. For international events, do get in touch.

  • Yes. We provide all necessary bar equipment to make your chosen cocktails or serve specific drinks.

  • Yes. We offer a variety of bars to suit your event no matter the size, style, or location.

  • We work with a range of hire companies across the UK and can include glassware on our quotes. For the best cocktail glassware we recommend Allens Hire to our clients and are able to offer a trade discount with their services. Usually we provide a “shopping list” of glassware to be hired by the client.

  • We supply all ingredients for cocktails, everything from spirits, syrups, garnish, & ice. This is to ensure the consistency and quality of our cocktail offering, and to reduce the hassle for you in sourcing and preparing ingredients for your event. A large amount of our cocktail ingredients are homemade infusions or syrups that we prepare in the days before an event.

    With beer, wine, or sparkling wine, we are happy to serve the drinks that you source, but we are also able to source and supply any and all drinks, including a stunning organic wine offering and local craft beer, at our events.


  • At all our events we offer the option of our own homemade seasonal soft drink, such as our Gooseberry & Elderflower lemonade or Rooibos Iced Tea - this can be tailored to your specific theme or palate. A majority of our guests pick these over mocktails, however we can add a non-alcoholic cocktail to your menu!

    We can source and supply any of your favourite bottled soft drinks as required.

  • We believe that each drink is an experience, that’s why we put a lot of love into every pour - we want every drink we serve to taste as good as the last. This is why we choose to make drinks fresh, to order. It makes for a far more enjoyable experience for you and your guests, we explain a little more about how we do this quickly and efficiently below. If you want pre-bottled cocktails as a table favour or as a gifts for your guests, please do let us know.

  • Good things come to those who wait; yes, but we can do better - over the years of providing mixology services for events, we have developed several methods of ensuring speedy, efficient and professional bar service without sacrificing on quality. Whether it’s preparing fresh ingredients at our HQ prior to an event or prebatching the key ingredients for our cocktails using our ‘premix system’, we minimise the steps taken to make each drink on the bar, meaning your guests get all the excitement and theatrics of cocktail making - in a fraction of the time. Most importantly this ensures consistent quality in all our drinks, so that your first cocktail tastes as good as your last.

  • Absolutely. We take great care to customise cocktails that cater to guests with dietary restrictions, allergies, or preferences such as gluten-free, vegan, or low-alcohol options.
